Elizabeth Navarro
Senior Director – Integrated Marketing Communications
Liz Navarro is a content creator, educator, writer and integrated marketing communications consultant. She empowers students, professionals, entrepreneurs and nonprofits to turn their authentic stories into engaging, clear and shareable narratives.
Liz consults with nonprofits and entrepreneurs in need of creating compelling content, helping them to engage their audience through multiple platforms. She specializes in podcasts, blogs, web copy, presentations, speeches, educational curriculum and social media. Liz has also worked with nonprofit clients to create strategic marketing plans, conduct industry research and has assisted in the strategic planning process.
After teaching high school in urban Los Angeles, Liz launched a career as a university instructor at her alma mater, Pepperdine University, where she taught communications and public speaking courses to undergraduates. Currently, she is a public speaking instructor at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she also offers public speaking coaching and courses for professionals. She empowers her students to identify and lean in to their unique strengths and to tell their authentic truths.
When she isn’t working with clients or students, Liz embraces a #sidehustle lifestyle as a freelance writer, blogger, and speaker. Born and raised in Idaho, she now resides in Dallas after a decade in Los Angeles and a far-too-brief year eating pasta and drinking wine in Florence, Italy. She loves spending time just about anywhere with her husband Alex, daughter Lucy, family and friends.
As a speaker, writer and professional, her work is featured at Strategic4sight, TEDx, Dallas Doing Good, Good Sophist, the Belo Media Group blog and the Wonderfully Made podcast.
